Pastor’s Sunday Study is continuing an exploration of the early Christian document called The Teaching of the Twelve Apostles (or The Didache in Greek) over these next several weeks. This short document from the 2nd century enables us to delve further into Christ’s way of faith, life, and worship. Join us in the conference room at 9:15 a.m. All are welcome!
Dietrich Bonhoeffer’s Psalms: The Prayerbook of the Bible—If you’d like to read, discuss, and pray your way through this little, but insightful, overview of the Psalms, plan on joining Pr. Joel and others in our sanctuary on Thursday, May 1, 8 and 29, from 12:05 to 12:35p.m. for our next sessions. Each person in attendance is given a book of your own to keep.
Wednesday Bible Study will resume on April 30! Join us on that day and Wednesdays after (at 10:30) we pick back up where we left off in the book of the prophet Jeremiah!
Thursday Bible Class will be taking a break during the month of May. In June we will start a new study with the Book of Isaiah.
Faith Night—Join whoever else shows up downstairs in the fellowship hall on Wednesday, May 7, from 5:30 to 6:00 for a simple meal (bring something to share!) and from 6 to 6:45 for a discussion on living spiritual vibrancy at home—whether you’re a household of 1 or 6 or any other number. This will be the last one until it resumes in September but keep a lookout for summer Neighborhood Nights of sand volleyball and enjoyable time outdoors visiting with others.
